Busha co-founder and COO Moyo Sodipo says building the company over seven years has required constant operational attention, with little room for formal leave.
Speaking in an interview published by TechCabal, Sodipo said Busha’s growth accelerated during the COVID period as user interest in digital assets increased, even as broader economic activity slowed.
He said the firm views crypto and stablecoins as infrastructure that can complement traditional finance, especially for payments and cross-border transactions.
Sodipo also said policy shocks — including earlier banking restrictions tied to crypto activity in Nigeria — created pressure for operators, but argued sustained engagement and education with regulators remain critical for long-term market development.
