We spend a lot of time at The Verge talking about robot vacuums — robovacs that can mop, robovacs that perfume your home, robovacs with arms, etc., etc. — but they’re not good for everything. A reliable handheld vac is still a good option for cleaning everything from car seats to stairs, which is why the current $65 discount on Fanttik’s Fold V10 Apex is worth pointing out. Normally $149.99, it’s now on sale at Amazon for $85.49, which matches the vac’s best price to date.

Where to Buy:

$149.99 $85.49 at Amazon
$149.99 $97.64 at Fanttik (with code V10APEX)

In recent years, I’ve become a fan of Fanttik’s myriad of tools, which really seem to rival Hoto’s in terms of design. The Fanttik Fold V10 Apex feels like a soup-up version of the like-minded V8 Apex, with a 2,000mAh battery and a foldable nozzle that lets you point the suction between seats, cup holders, and other crevices hiding within your vehicle. The extendable nozzle can pivot up to 210 degrees, too, and thanks to a built-in LED light located on the front of the handle, you needn’t worry about missing anything while vacuuming.
As for add-ons, the 17,000Pa V10 comes with an upholstery tool, two brushes, and an extendable hose with a crevice tool, letting you reach into areas that would otherwise be difficult to access. None of them are game-changers, but they’re nice to have, as is the USB-C charging port and the vacuum’s onboard display. The latter allows you to quickly view the remaining battery life, the suction mode, and whether the washable filter needs a look, which — if we’re being honest — always does.

Belkin’s handsome BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charging Stand with Qi2 is on clearance at Amazon and Best Buy for $65.99 ($44 off), an all-time low. It’s an excellent charging stand despite having a world salad of a name, one that can simultaneously fast-charge newer Apple Watch models, juice a pair of earbuds, and supply up to 15W of power to iPhone 12 series phones and newer. The black version has been a mainstay of my desk for months, consistently serving as a reliable dock for StandBy Mode.
If you haven’t already signed up, you can currently nab an annual subscription to My Best Buy Plus for just $24.99 ($25 off). It’s more of a gateway to future deals than it is a deal itself, as subscribers can take advantage of member-only pricing on select products, access exclusive sales events, and get free two-day shipping, in addition to an extended 60-day return window on most products.
The physical edition of my favorite PlayStation 5 game of 2024, Astro Bot, is down to $32.99 ($27 off) at Amazon and Walmart right now, which is easily the best price we’ve seen. I could wax poetic about the game’s great platforming mechanics, its inventive level design, and its cute-as-a-button power-ups, but just know that my former colleague Ash Parrish was right when she said that it’s the kind of game you buy a PS5 for. Adaptive triggers, baby!
