Chairman of FlowFM 92.7 and Stefolga Group, Engr. Femi Sanni (Araba), has congratulated acting Inspector-General of Police Tunji Disu on his appointment as head of the Nigeria Police Force.

In a statement signed on Thursday, Sanni described the elevation as recognition of Disu’s years of service, professionalism and integrity in policing.

He said the appointment signals confidence in the acting IGP’s experience and leadership capacity at a time when the country is facing complex security challenges.

Sanni added that many Nigerians, including people from Kwara State, view Disu’s emergence as a deserved step in his career within the Force.

According to him, improved security remains central to national development, and the police leadership has a key role in protecting lives and property while consolidating ongoing institutional reforms.

He expressed optimism that Disu’s tenure could bring renewed energy to policing operations and broader public confidence in law enforcement delivery.

Sanni also offered prayers for the acting IGP, asking for wisdom, good health and strength as he takes on the responsibility of leading the Force.

He said Nigerians would expect a tenure marked by professionalism, effectiveness and measurable progress in creating a safer country.
