Suzanne Maloney, vice president and director for foreign policy at The Brookings Institution, said that she expects volatility between the US and Iran to continue in the coming months regardless of whether or not the countries reach a deal on the Strait of Hormuz and that volatility will be a 'function of Persian Gulf economics for the foreseeable future.'
