Izamoje to Chair Sportsville Special Recognition Award in Lagos on March 28

This year’s Sportsville award ceremony will be chaired by the Chairman of Brila Group, Dr. Larry Izamoje. The Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Harry Iwuala, disclosed this last night after firming up the appointment with him. The news of Dr. Izamoje chairing the ceremony was widely received by the committee members and the organizers of the event. “This is definitely a cheering news to all of us. For Dr. Izamoje to Chair this year’s award tells you the prestige and credibility of Sportsville Special Recognition Award. “I want to, on behalf of the Organizing Committee and the Management of Sportsville, thank most sincerely the Chairman of the Brila Group for this honour. We are looking forward to a thrilling ceremony come March 28 in Lagos.”

Dr. Izamoje, a recipient of the maiden edition in 2020, disclosed that he is impressed with the credibility the award has garnered within the past five years. “I think the organizers are doing a great job with this annual ceremony. I have been privileged to attend one or two editions and I must say I left with positive and memorable impressions on each occasions. “Kudos to my brother Frank Ilaboya for introducing this to our sports space.”

This year’s Sportsville Special Recognition Award is the 6th in the series, having debuted in 2020 in Lagos.
