US President Donald Trump has predicted the war with Iran would be resolved “very soon”, although he said he didn't believe it would be this week. Meanwhile, Iran chose Mojtaba Khamenei, the hardline son of the assassinated Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as its new supreme leader yesterday with many taking this is as a signal Tehran won't back down in a war raging across the Middle East.
