Taraba PDP Dismisses Delisting Claims, Assures Party Unity

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Taraba State has strongly dismissed claims that the party faces possible delisting by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), describing such reports as false and politically motivated.In a press statement issued in Jalingo, the chairman of the PDP Caretaker Committee in the state insisted that the party remains lawful, united, and fully compliant with electoral regulations. The leadership characterised the delisting rumours as attempts to create confusion within the party ranks.PDP leaders in Taraba reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining party discipline and unity ahead of future electoral contests. They called on members to disregard what they termed as baseless speculation designed to undermine the party's standing in the state.The statement comes amid ongoing political realignments in Taraba State, where the PDP has historically maintained significant influence. Party officials urged supporters to remain focused on strengthening the party's grassroots structures rather than responding to unfounded allegations.
