Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. says a fresh $31-a-share offer from Paramount Skydance Corp. may deliver better value than its current agreement with Netflix Inc., opening the door to another round of bidding for its studio and HBO assets.

The company said it is not withdrawing its recommendation for investors to back Netflix’s $27.75-a-share deal. However, it said Paramount’s latest terms are strong enough to justify additional discussions.

Robert Fishman, Senior Research Analyst at MoffettNathanson, also discussed the latest developments ahead of Paramount’s earnings during Bloomberg Businessweek Daily with Carol Massar and Tim Stenovec.
